This song was first recorded in 1960 on one of the sessions for My Favorite Things. When Coltrane moved to the Impulse! label and his fame grew in the 1960's, Atlantic used the unissued recordings and released them without Coltrane's consent or approval on the album Coltrane Plays the Blues. It is not Coltrane's most widely known blues, it has been recorded just about a dozen times.
